Basic Policy |
◦ Academic operation principle: Combine face-to-face and online classes
(Face-to-face classes are recommended.)
※ Academic operation principle can be changeable according to the situation of COVID-19.
◦ In order to adjust to university life and get scholastic achievement for students
who have been restricted any face-to-face activities on campus from entrance the university in 2020,
required major and major elective classes are obligatorily operated face-to-face for junior(3rd grade) students.

|
◦ Support the normalization of face-to-face classes starting from the first semester of 2022, select and operate the proper teaching method for the educational goals. ◦ Response measures in case of emergency : Switch to non-face-to-face for theory, liberal arts and large-scale classes, permit university activites according to the standards of private meetings and events in quarantine guidelines. |

※ Face-to-face classes will be operated in compliance with the basic quarantine rules and standard of quarantine management of classroom.

Checking class type by subject |
◦ Class type by subject can be checked in the “PNU Students Total Care System” from 2022. 1. 24.(Mon).
※ Class type input period by professors in charge : ‘22. 1. 12.(Wed) ～ 1. 21.(Fri)
◦ ‘Face-to-face, remote, mixed, combined classes’ will be indicated in the ‘Remarks’ column.
In case of a ‘mixed class’, the class type by date can be checked by clicking ‘mixed.’

Credits for course registration of distance learning subjects |
◦ Within the number of credits available for course registration, students can apply for distance learning courses without the upper limit of credits.
※ Article 8 of the PNU Distance Learning Operation Regulations is exceptionally applied only in the spring semester of 2022.

Assessment and grades |
◦ Assessment of midterm and final exams
- Midterm exams : The professors in charge can autonomously decide whether or not to implement and how to conduct them.
- Final exams : Conducting face-to-face examinations is a principle.
◦ Grades : Grades will be awarded in accordance with the PNU’s organization of curriculum and operation regulations.
