Founded in May 15th, 1946, Pusan National University holds a proud 78-year history and tradition as the first comprehensive national university in South Korea. Throughout our rich history, we have guided our nation's great progress towards its industrialization and democratization.

Pusan National University has campuses in Busan, Yangsan, Miryang, and Ami. Our four campuses comprise of 15 colleges, 5 professional graduate schools, and 9 special graduate schools, making it the largest national university in South Korea. In 2027, we will add the Yeonje campus, which will serve as the epicenter for educating our students and our community, as well as cultivating the next generation of educators and teachers. With our five campuses and the unique strength and services that each has to offer, Pusan National University will foster new leaders of tomorrow who will spearhead the development of the Busan region, as well as our nation's progress at the global stage.
